2026-04-01T00:00:00+07:00 Hak Cipta (c) 2026 Sutar Sutar, Mila Ermila Hendriyani, Usman https://pppm.staisman.com/index.php/japi/article/view/248 DATA EXPLORATION OF STUDENT PERFORMANCE UNDER THE MERDEKA CURRICULUM: A CASE STUDY AT MAN 1 PANDEGLANG 2026-04-29T20:01:46+07:00 Ina Herlinawati inaherlinawati22@gmail.com Aat Royhatudin royhatudina@gmail.com Ahmad Hidayat hidayatjh9@gmail.com Oom Sunarsih oomsunarsih12@gmail.com
The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) in Indonesian madrasahs represents a significant pedagogical shift, yet empirical evidence on its relationship with student performance remains limited. This study conducts a data exploration of student performance under the Merdeka Curriculum at MAN 1 Pandeglang, aiming to identify patterns, trends, and key determinants of academic outcomes. Using a quantitative exploratory design, we analyzed secondary data from 180 tenth-grade students across three semesters, including report card grades, formative assessment scores, attendance records, and participation in project-based learning (PjBL) activities. Descriptive statistics, trend analysis, and correlation tests were employed to explore the data. The findings reveal three main patterns: first, project-based learning participation shows a moderate positive correlation with final semester grades (r = 0.52); second, consistent attendance above 90% is associated with higher performance stability across all subjects; and third, students demonstrate improved outcomes in literacy and numeracy assessments compared to pre-curriculum baseline data. However, wide variability in performance across different project themes suggests uneven implementation fidelity. Compared to previous studies on competency-based curricula, these results highlight the unique role of madrasah cultural contexts in moderating curriculum effectiveness. This study contributes baseline empirical data from an understudied population and offers practical insights for curriculum adaptation at MAN 1 Pandeglang, with broader implications for madrasahs nationwide adopting the Merdeka Curriculum.
2026-04-01T00:00:00+07:00 Hak Cipta (c) 2026 Ina, Aat Royhatudin, Ahmad Hidayat, Oom Sunarsih https://pppm.staisman.com/index.php/japi/article/view/250 REFORMULASI KURIKULUM BERBASIS LITERASI DIGITAL PADA ERA ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: PERSPEKTIF TEKNOLOGI PENDIDIKAN 2026-06-04T19:57:04+07:00 Syukron Jamal syukron@uidepok.ac.id
Digital transformation and the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) have significantly changed various aspects of human life, including education systems. These changes require educational institutions to develop human resources equipped with adequate digital literacy skills to adapt to increasingly complex technological developments. However, several indicators reveal that literacy levels in Indonesia still face substantial challenges. The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2022 reported that Indonesian students’ reading literacy performance remains below the OECD average (OECD, 2023). This condition is reinforced by the Indonesian Digital Society Index (IMDI), which indicates that Indonesia's digital maturity remains at a moderate level (Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, 2025). This article aims to analyze curriculum reformulation in strengthening digital literacy in the era of Artificial Intelligence from the perspective of educational technology. The study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from OECD and UNESCO reports, scholarly journals, and educational technology theories. The findings indicate that digital literacy-based curriculum development should integrate twenty-first-century competencies, AI literacy, and educational technology theories such as constructivism, connectivism, multimedia learning, TPACK, and SAMR. Curriculum reformulation, teacher competency development, and digital infrastructure enhancement are strategic factors in creating an adaptive learning ecosystem. Therefore, digital literacy-based curriculum reform is essential to prepare learners for the challenges of Society 5.0.

2026-01-04T00:00:00+07:00 Hak Cipta (c) 2026 Syukron Jamal https://pppm.staisman.com/index.php/japi/article/view/251 PRAKTIK ADOPSI DALAM HUKUM ISLAM DAN HUKUM POSITIF INDONESIA SERTA IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP SILSILAH KELUARGA 2026-06-04T20:17:48+07:00 Evita Putri Heriyanto evitaputriheriyanto@gmail.com Amum Mahbub Ali amummahbubali@gmail.com aminudin aminnudinn1990@gmail.com
This study examines adoption practices through Islamic law and Indonesian positive law, and analyzes their implications for lineage (nasab). Adoption is viewed as a noble form of care for children, especially by families who have not been blessed with offspring. However, in practice, adoption in Sindanghayu Village, Saketi Subdistrict, Pandeglang Regency is often carried out through cultural and social approaches without comprehensive legal understanding. In several cases, adopted children are attributed to adoptive parents and treated as heirs, although Islamic law distinguishes adoption from biological parentage. This research uses a qualitative case study approach by collecting primary data through interviews and observation, supported by secondary data from legal literature, legislation, and Islamic legal sources. The findings show that Islamic law permits child care through kafalah as long as it does not change lineage and does not automatically create inheritance rights. Indonesian positive law requires adoption to prioritize the best interests of the child and to be carried out through court determination. The study concludes that adoption may be practiced as a form of protection and care, but it must preserve the child's original lineage and comply with applicable legal procedures.

2026-04-01T00:00:00+07:00 Hak Cipta (c) 2026 Evita Putri Heriyanto, Amum Mahbub Ali, aminudin
